CNW modules are an all inclusive process transfer and weighed batch device. Power from any type of source can be transferred and loss in weight batched to any destination-with one piece of equipment.

CNW modules consist of a filter, a surge bin, live bin activator, volumetric tube feeder and scale system. Filter heads, surge bins, PBAs and feeders are available in a wide range of sizes and combinations.

Modular construction allows for a standard application specific module. Pre-engineered modules provide a low cost solution with predictable performance. Tool free take apart.

  • Models Several sizes that can handle a range of convey lines from 2" diameter to 6" diameter. CNW is available within our Moovinator, our CT and our CTH series filter heads.
  • Configurations Different filter heads can be combined with any of our surge bins and PBAs as well as our volumetric feeders. CNW can be built with large surge size or high convey rate or fast discharge size-any of these requirements individually or as a collection.
  • Self Contained Filter, surge, identifier, feeder and scale-one assembly does it all.
  • Modular System Skid provides a multiple ingredient batch system pre-mounted and wired to a common skid.
  • Powder Control results in precise scaling. Through powder densifying, efficient filling of volumetric feeder, a controlled powder atmosphere results. For tough to control powders-corn starch or carbons-a double wrapped auger is used to control flow.
  • Levels of Finish Available in Food Grade, USDA-3A Dairy and General Industrial finishes.
  • Space Saving Design

With a self contained assembly operating under a vacuum, we can assure a cleaner plant environment and better space utilization. A conventional system will consume more space and have several booted connection-all of which use space and cause leaks. CNW modules are shipped as a complete assembly with everything matched and suited for application. Should your process change, CNW can be re-deployed or expanded using existing components.

  • Operation Methodology

Powder can be drawn from any source...even a wand. Powder is vacuum conveyed into module in a gain in weight mode. Once module has been filled (typically 1.5 times batch size), it is ready for making a scaled batch. When called, discharge valve on feeder discharge will open, feeder will start along with cycling of process bin activator. Feeder will run at 100% speed until the first of two set points is achieved. At first set point, feeder will go into a slow speed or dibble mode. As loss in weight target gets closer, the system will go into its second set point mode where the feeder goes into a jog mode. Method does not use a pre-act method. Rather, weight set point needs to be achieved or crossed before scale complete is given. When a very large batch is needed but space won't allow for large surge, CNW can be deployed with a repeating smaller surge. Several discharged batch sizes are accumulated with final weight being made in last scale mode.

  • Complete Batching Process Systems

Above images shows a 6-ingredient batching skid system. Skid systems are available simply mounted to a combination skid/platform. Skids can be completely wired and plumbed for direct service.
