All cast stainless steel housing and end caps are of heavy wall construction. This mass provides a very stable platform for challenging installations with heat or difficult powder. A smooth and radiused exterior resists fugitive dust build up. Cast in close mounting flanges with drilled and tapped holes results in a low overall installed height with no exposed bolt threads or bolts.
Tandem outboard mounted bearings on each end assure reliable rotor positioning. A rotor micro-adjust mechanism ensures rotor and housing compatibility. Features based on years of service in plants around this country
Rotor starts with a 3" solid shaft. Seal journals are hard chromed for long life. Drive is engaged through a machined drive dog that mates to drive shaft-no keys or keyways. Standard 8-blade rotor features 3/8" thick beveled blades.
